Taylor Lautner will go shirtless only of it 'makes sense'

Taylor Lautner has revealed that he is wiling to go shirtless in movies only if it "makes sense."

The 20-year-old actor, who is famed for his role as werewolf Jacob Black in the 'Twilight' movies, was regularly seen flashing his chiselled torso.

Since the shooting has wrapped on the franchise, Lautner is keen to become known for something more than his pecs. He is adamant that he wouldn't strip off too much in his movie 'Abduction'.

"In the original script there were six or seven shirtless scenes and I said, 'No, my character can't just walk outside and say, 'Oh, I feel warm today, let me take off my shirt.' It had to make sense," Stuff.co.nz quoted him as telling Company magazine.

Lautner is also pleased with his new diet. He used to eat a great deal to stay in shape while portraying Jacob but now he is more relaxed about what he puts into his body.

"I'm enjoying that I don't have to be in the gym six days a week now, or force-feeding myself every two hours to stay bulky.

"Now it's about staying healthy, but I've always been active and loved playing sports," he said. (ANI)
